Dipl. Ing. Matthias Traub studied Information and Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Graz. In 2013 he also studied abroad at the University of Stockholm and gained insights into business-related topics such as business process management and integration and knowledge management. He was a research assistant of the department of Intelligent Information Systems at Joanneum Research (2013-2014). Since 2014 he is a member of the Social Computing department at the Know Center in Graz, working in the field of data driven systems with the focus on recommender systems, explainability and biases of algorithms. Currently he is pursuing a MBA at the Californian Lutheran University and is the main project manager in the team where he has been involved in the initiation, administration and implementation of national as well as international EU-projects with Austrian partners like AT&S, Asfinag, T-Mobile and Porsche Austria. Additionally, he is teaching at Donau University Krems in advances of information technology and is the current chairman of the Knowledge Management Forum in Graz.
